During my tenure at Parwaz Male Health Society, I played a pivotal role in HIV/AIDS prevention and education initiatives under the UNDP Pakistan program. As a Community Counselor, I provided essential support to PLHIV, facilitated ART linkage, and conducted community outreach to raise awareness and promote health education.
At SOS Children's Village, I worked as a Psychologist, providing crucial psychological support to children who have experienced trauma. I developed and implemented psychoeducational programs, conducted individual and group therapy sessions, and contributed to the overall well-being and development of children in care.
My experience at AAS Trust, a drug and trauma rehabilitation center, further strengthened my expertise in psychological assessment and counseling. District Project Officer
PPHI SINDH Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the facility centre at public hospitals to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for the nutrition program and other health services.
Coordinate with hospital administration to address facility needs and improvements, ensuring the smooth operation of health services.
Supervise and train project staff to ensure effective implementation of the nutrition program and adherence to PPHI Sindh’s standards.
Efficiently manage project resources, including food supplements and educational materials, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.
Oversee financial aspects of the project, ensuring proper allocation and utilization of funds.
WFP Responsibilites
Oversee the distribution of specialized nutritious foods (SNF) and food supplements provided by WFP to ensure they reach targeted populations effectively.
Monitor and report on the usage and impact of these nutritional resources, ensuring compliance with WFP guidelines and standards.
Manage logistics related to the storage, handling, and distribution of food supplements to maintain quality and prevent wastage.

UNICEF Responsibilities
Lead SBCC initiatives supported by UNICEF, focusing on promoting healthy nutritional practices and behaviors within communities.

Report and document safeguarding issues on both national and international child safeguarding portals, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children who have experienced trauma, identifying their needs and creating appropriate support plans.
Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, psychoeducational awareness sessions, and workshops to address children’s emotional and psychological needs.
Provide essential information and guidance to parents and management regarding children’s behavioral and performance growth, ensuring a supportive environment for their development.
